Make your own Peeps treat boxes

There are so many things to love about Easter! When I was a kid, it meant my mom and I would go shopping for Sunday dresses, Easter eggs hunts with friends and neighbors, and let's not forget candy and treats in all the cute Easter packaging!

Peeps are one of my favorite Easter treats, so for this project I'll show you how to make your own Peep treat boxes to give out to friends and family in just a few easy steps!

Oh and by the way, I recently bought a Cricut explore air , and I'm obsessed with how easy it is to cut vinyl and paper! However, if you don't currently own a Cricut you can use sticker letters, or hand write your own phrases for this project :)

You Will Need:

  • Vinyl Paper (or letter stickers)

  • Cardstock in different colors

  • Ruler

  • Bone Folder

  • Glue Tape

  • A Cricut Explore Air or use an exacto knife to cut out letters

  • Pencil

I cut my cardstock to be 8 inches by 7 inches. Then I scored the paper using a bone folder along the dotted lines below. See the measurements for each section below:

I then used my cricut air to cut out different phrases using vinyl.

A cool trick I learned is to use Glad Press'n Seal instead of transfer paper to transfer the vinyl design to my paper.

Finally, I just folder the paper along the lines and glued the ends using glue tape. A super easy and cute way to hand out peeps treat boxes to friends and family!

Have a Hoppy Easter!
