DIY Stamps and Decorative Paper
I visited my local art supplier store and was delighted to find that they carry sheets of rubber to make rubber stamps. I made a couple stamps including, bird stamps and used them to decorate butcher paper for book covers. The decorative stamp paper can also be used as gift wrapping!
Materials: Rubber, X-Acto knife, cutting mat, stamp ink, butcher paper, markers, wine cork, hot, glue gun, card stock
I made some cutouts from left over card stock to guide me in carving the rubber cube
after carving the stamps, hot glue the stamps to wine corks
I used markers to draw a tree and used blue and red stamp ink to decorate the tree with tweeters!
Voila! Book covers!
