Hot Tip! Quick and easy nail art
I love bright colors and geometric shapes, but who wants to pay big buck$ for custom nail art? Not I, ladies...not I! This is my idea of an 80's throw-back nail design. I used purple, yellow, and blue, but you can think bigger and brighter and neon colors, as well.
Materials: Clear Coat (base and top coat) by Sally Hansen, Base Coat: purple (Fierce and Fab) by JulieG , yellow (Chick Chick) by Sinful Colors , clear tape or contact paper, and Scissors.
I like to use nail polish remover on nails before applying clear base coat to remove any natural oils that may cause premature chipping (nobody wants all this work to go to waste). Now paint on a clear coat and your base coat.
I bought blue and white chevron contact paper for a decorative project and found it easy to paint on so I used yellow nail polish to paint a couple of coats on the white area. If you don't have contact paper you can easily use clear scotch tape instead (MacGyver that!).
I used scissors to carefully cut out small geometric shapes
Peel away the backing and place on nails ♥ Add a couple top coat layers
Voila! A quick and easy way to style your nails! Be sure to add another top coat layer every couple of days to keep your nail polish from chipping ♥
